The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has drawn attention to the mistreatment of Dilip Agrawal, a journalist working for Makalu Television, while carrying out news-gathering activities.

According to the Morang chapter of the FNJ, local leader Lilaraj Kharel mistreated Agrawal during the Nepali Congress Rangeli Municipal Convention on 25 September 2026.

The FNJ draws the attention of the concerned authorities to investigate this deplorable and press-hostile incident that occurred while the journalist was performing his professional duties and to take necessary action against those responsible.
