The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) is deeply shocked by the sad news of the passing of journalist Amit Kumar Bishwakarma. He passed away at the young age of 40 on March 25, 2026 (Chaitra 11, 2082), during treatment at Bharatpur Hospital in Chitwan.

A member of the FNJ Nawalpur Branch, Mr. Bishwakarma was an active figure in journalism within the Nawalpur district. With his demise, the Nepali media sector has lost a skilled and energetic young journalist, and the Federation has lost a dedicated member.

The Federation offers its heartfelt tributes to the late Bishwakarma and prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Furthermore, in this hour of grief, we extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family, wishing them the strength to endure this profound loss.
