The Federation of Nepali Journalists is shocked by the sad news of the death of senior journalist Liladhar Gautam at the age of 91. Gautam, who had been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for the past few years, passed away on 2083 Baisakh 4, the Federation's Surkhet branch has stated.

Gautam, who was active in journalism for a long time, was an honorary member of the Federation. He had worked in newspapers including Surkhet Post and Janadesh. With his death, the Nepali journalism sector has lost an experienced and qualified journalist.

The Federation pays heartfelt tribute to the late Gautam and prays for the eternal peace of the departed soul. It also expresses its deepest condolences, wishing that the bereaved family members may find the strength to bear this loss in this hour of grief.
